For example, it is commonly known that the Y series IdeaPad suffers from a fatal design defect that causes the premature failure of the hinges. Coordinating the return (several months after the extended warranty expired) took at least an hour on the phone with several inexplicable holds. The call to pay for the additional fees took 15 minutes merely for Lenovo's generally incompetent, disinterested, rude, and English speaking challenged morons to process a $100 dollar credit card payment. I wonder if Lenovo management really gives a shit about us poor suckers that fall for their company's bullshit. It will never happen again! Lenovo does absolutely suck! Assholes!

Re: Martin’s W500 troubles

Some of these internet pages might loss a membership expense condition often the loss is a with reference to occasion no new than pact plus you be able to look out of bed since several numbers seeing as you desire.
My new Lenovo Thinkpad Edge arrived with the trackpad acting like it was on crack - not responding, then deciding to go click crazy and move the cursor erratically. Lenovo tech said it was the driver. A little searching and people say the new driver is just as bad.

Another call to Lenovo tech and he tells me that the new driver was corrupted because the web site was being redesigned and it corrupted the driver. Really? My work is managing our company's web site and this seems very unlikely (that a driver file would get corrupted when the web site files are being worked on.)
So I contact tech support AGAIN - and am told I need to use an external mouse or send back the machine and it was going to be 3 to 4 weeks for the repair but no guarantee! So I reply that I just want my money back - he says contact your sale rep.

So I contact my sales rep - and guess what - he doesn't return my calls, he doesn't reply to my emails... so do I just pack it up and ship it back and hope for the best? That does not seem smart.

So now I have a $800 paperweight. Great.

LENOVO SUCKS.

I had a recent bad experience with them that I posted on my blog: http://www.adamsblog.com/2011/...

Re: Martin’s W500 battery woes

Got a similar issue with a THINKPAD EDGE 13 and Lenovo's NON-Support. The screen has split on the INSIDE of the screen case - no mis-use from the staff member - the laptop is only 4 months old no damage on the case at all. Lenevo want £70 to diagnose the problem and over £220 to repair it and will not take responsibility for a crap screen. Back to HP for me. NB. it did give me great satisfaction cancelling a batch of Lenovo laptops for another client because of this issue.
